JHo back for more

Not content with being universally panned for his first YouTube effort, John Howard has returned for another beating at the hands of the internet generation, this time with a similarly wooden video banging on about Commonwealth/ State relations. At least this time around he kicks off with “Hello there,” instead of “Good morning.” An amateur’s mistake.

Interestingly, there are only 80-odd comments on the infamous climate change video, whereas I seem to recall there being thousands last time I checked. This begs the question: why even bother with Web 2.0 (don’t know what it means? Ask Goobermetrics and his PhD) if you’re not going to allow the democratic nature of social networking to apply to your videos? I know that 97% of comments said “John Howard is a cunt” or something similar but, you know, the people has spoken.
