Kevin Rudd had better win this election because Kevin Ten just doesn’t have the same ring to it as Kevin Oh Seven. And does anybody else feel like Kevin’s new campaign website is the online equivalent of a sad, boring 50 year old man whose wardrobe contains only suits, chinos and polo shirts parading around in baggy pants, a basketball shirt, shiny bling and a backwards baseball cap?

It’s impossible to make someone who is sad and boring seem cool, even if they are on YouTube and one of their interns knows how to use photoshop.

Whilst your photoshopping efforts are admirable, I was referring to the “Kevin 07″ photoshopping on the campaign website. There’s a picture of a plane and a banner advertising big Kev. Like the ALP campaign warchest could stretch that far.

I wonder if, when they look at the web stats, Kev’s crack PR team realises that 98% of visits are probably from blogs like this one, checking it out in order to make fun of it…the day they make a counter for that is the day political web designers lose their contracts.
