Lachlan Connor has announced that he will release a policy each day for the rest of this week, ahead of a trip to Canberra on the weekend to “soak up the democracy.” I wonder if he’s going to drop into Fyshwick to soak up anything else?

Here is Lachlan’s first policy release for the week: education.

And I thought Lachlan was going to demand 200% wage rises for primary school teachers.

His policy should be more along the lines of bringing in the performance based pay structure that came up earlier in the year.
You see, the reason the is such a difference in the school systems has to come down to the teachers and their teaching style [or lack thereof].
These public school teachers are forever being caught not doing any actual teaching. To much of presious teaching time is being spent on other “non-teacherlike” things like downloading p0rn music and writing personal blogs….

Doh, the “strikethrough” p0rn didn’t work. Either did the [sarc] and [/sarc] even though it came up in the preview as working…. who’s the Admin around here?

I put the strikethrough in for you, Hairball. Left the “sarc” tags out though, because I know you weren’t really being sarcastic.

What about the separation of church and state? Say if Hillsong was to offer state schools to pay for say, “Bible Man” shows, would Lachlan step in? Given his previous treatment of the division of powers, this shouldn’t be at odds with his style of federalism unless of course he’s doing back-handed deals with FF.

Every public school will have a swimming pool…

Well done Lachlan, you’ll be personally responsible for a spate of drownings as lazy PE teachers nick off for a fag while the Year 5s are at play.
