Playing the man, not the ball

A new tactic from Andrew Bolt in his ongoing campaign to disprove human-induced climate change: call Al Gore fat.

Reader Babs wants Al Gore to offer the offsets that will really benefit humanity:

I’m waiting for someone… ANYONE… to come up with a Calorie Offset programme. If it works the same as “Carbon Offsetting”, just think. I can eat whatever I like but as long as I hand over cash, I’ll never put on weight!

Two points:

1) This is the kind of informed, intellectual commentary that makes Andrew Bolt such a respected member of the journalism profession; and

2) How long before Timmeh Blair adopts the same tactic as part of Andy and Timmeh’s ongoing groupthink campaign?

Tim Blur already has the monopoly for the Phatty Phillip Adams jokes. Anyone can do them really. Just spell fat with a ph instead of an f. In fact, when participating in a thread about Phillip Adams’ girth, just spell every word starting with f with a ph instead. You will phit in really well and raise the bar in intellectual commentary.

Pretty sure the pathetic fuckwits at Blair’s blog have been onto this for a while. It goes like this.

Al Gore is fat and has been known to fly on a plane.
Therefore global warming is not real.

They are geniuses, they really are.

    Molly Ivins wrote about this.

“Clinton: We need real education reform.

    Rush Limbaugh: Clinton is fat.”

    It’s groupthink free for all.

Some loopy woman at a fundraiser asked (Republican candidate) what he was gonna do to stop that “bitch” Hillary getting elected. McCain’s response was to chuckle.
