A few months ago GrodsCorp introduced you to Stuart Ulrich, independent for Charlton, who came to our attention after he wrote a cryptic email to Lachlan Connor.

Hi Lachlan

Stuart Ulrich from the seat of Charlton, I myself will also be running as an independent.

Just something remember the constitution.

At the Parliament House website one can search for the why behind this, using constitutional debates for the search.

As I have found our government and those in Canberra, that’s is all of them are constitutionally inept.

The constitution holds certain powers for federal and those of the states that they had when the constitution was signed is 1900.

Good Luck

Stuart

At the time I asked for readers to assist us in the translation of the above message but Stuart left a comment that, in its attempt to clear up the confusion, only baffled us more.

Hi Lachlan.

To decode this is easy.

The political party i have been working on is about the people.

Federal Government is there to represent the people and states not political parties.

The parties can put forward candidates but once in government are supposed to be independent.
Remember it is the electorate that you should be concerned with.

Some say, well a constitution is old and out of date, but until such times that we have a referendum to change this then the rules are there.
We all know that behind the rules are the reasoning that has created these documents, and this goes for all.

The party TAPP was created to bring together those who wish to stand for the people and still be free to act accordinally.

Now Lachlan if you wish to contact me I am happy but if you cannot ask a question about our constitution then we certainly are in trouble.

With debates outlines how things are supposed to work.

Stuart Ulrich
Independent Candidate for Charlton

So imagine my delight when I found a Lachlan Connor-esque video of Stuart Ulrich on the YouTubes that makes even less sense than Stuart’s writing. Enjoy!

Oh my. “No one wants to listen”. Well he’s right there. Why did he have to throw in the Med discharge line? Is that an admission that he faked that sore back for a pension!

Stuart, you just have to say ex-army. Don’t give away that you were a gimp.

“Just to clarify,” I’m not trying to be mean to Stuart, it’s just that if you make a nauseatingly tedious youtube video with too many pauses and you are running for parliament, you have to cop some shite.

I just got annoyed by the perpetual tautology acting as filler without him saying how he was going to do anything.

Lots of different ways to say the same thing and not one solution proposed.

The same minimalist philosophy ad nausium, but not a single application mentioned.

Going on like a broken record, but not telling us how he intends to get the job done.

    Oh crap… It’s contagious.

Agreed Bruce. What about this one, “I am not here to give you a warm fuzzy feeling”. Thank the lord for that.

I think the med discharge may be for reasons other than a sore back Jimmy. I think Stuart is funny like ha ha funny not the other ha ha funny.

Oh shit. I take back the comment about the med discharge. I just read that Stuart was discharged because of a terrible accident. Apologies to Stuart and his family.

Upon reading Stuart’s page I saw this: ” To ensure that the future of Australia’s men and women and families of the Defence Forces is assured rather than forgotten after a photo opportunity.”

I feel for these guys. They go in with the best intentions, they and their families sacrifice everything for the machine that is the Army and then they are chewed up, spat out and left for dead.

Fuck the Army and fuck the gov’t for letting the top brass make policies that ruin soldiers lives.

Stuart has his work cut out for him with this policy. There are others within the Defence Force that share his concern, unfortunately they are in the minority.

*This is not an attempt to make up for my previous out-of-order comment. I share Stuart’s concern.

No doubt about Stuart’s conviction, passion and intention. Good on him for giving it a go. But you run for public office you open yourself up for public scrutiny. Lachlan Connor’s got more policies that Stuart.

Stuart would be taken advantage of if elected. I detect a certain naivety in most of his policies.

I’d still put him before a number of the more prominent candidates. If he was on South Australian ballots of course.

I’d vote for him. Apart from the long pauses he seems honest.

I was particularly amused by the qualification “so I know what’s going on” in response to his being able to list all of the members of his immediate family…oooh, now I’m overcome with schadenfraude, naughty krypto, naughty.

his daughter Amber’s comment was more insightful, it sounds to me like he is a fairly honest, basically decent bloke who has had enough of his family getting a raw deal.
I’d rather see him run for the lower house than grab a gun and head for a rooftop. Unless he directs his preferences to the co alition, in which case he would do less damage to the community by choosing the gun-and-rooftop option.

    Hi all
If I had known this was here would have replied earlier.
Yeah I know it wasnt great but that was me.

The day we had the ballet and my number came up as first on the form i thought it was great, then i heard all this stuff about a donkey vote, I couldnt give a stuff about that.
Yes i have been told people like myself do not have a place in politics and it is only for the elite upper rich class well i havnt stopped yet.
Also being ex army I was pissed off when i had my accident as i didnt join the army for fun, i knew what it was about.
Whilst i was in hospital my doctors said i should have been dead and totally agreed with them.

At the ballet some people who were there looking on that the other parties would be after me and I said I am not for sale so dont you forget that.
I may not be able to put together a fantastic peice of bull but at least i can say what i mean.
That is what government is about us not the crap that keeps coming and the people of charlton know who i am and they have found that talking straight to them with no bull is the best thing they have found.
Being ex army I find people dont believe a word I say but as i said to someone the other day and ask him what his word is worth.
I dont have the money these others have but do have passion and the drive to represent the people and the respect for not only myself but also the people is a great thing and that is my word.

    Stuart

“At the ballet some people who were there looking on that the other parties would be after me and I said I am not for sale so dont you forget that.”

I hate it when you’re at the ballet and people start talking to you, when you just want to concentrate on the dancing.
