How do, Grodcorpuscles, I’m back from my winter sojourn to Europe. I’ll make a post about it later, once the jetlag has cleared and I’ve toiled my way through a month of washing. Either that is the most hurredly produced textbook of all time, or the good folk at Jacaranda are grimacing at the thought of having to roll out a reprint.
What worries me is that a shot from A Knight’s Tale is on a history text book - does that mean kids learn that in medieval knights jousted to Queen songs?

How positively unfortunate.
Everyone knows that the knights jousted to Queen songs. It is a little known fact however that they liked to prepare for the tournaments with a little Marilyn Manson.

eh, you know if the content is factually accurate does it really matter how they get kids interested in History?
I mean it is kind of twee but it’s a far cry from Mc battle of Hastings or McAgincourt.
