GrodsCorp favourite Chris Johnston has written about Heath Ledger. The article, naturally, excels at nothingness, but it does contain this line:

The result, though, was a sick and sad and talented boy who stopped breathing.

Oh, so that’s how people die.

Who is this Chris Johnston anyway??

And why are people STILL writing about Heath Ledger?

Chris Johnston is a senior writer.

I can’t help thinking that “senior” in this context is a bit like when vendors of bad leather jackets at the Queen Vic Market describe their wares as “quality”.

Chris Johnston is also a novelist (or at least that’s what he reckons.) And what publisher could resist Chris’ simple-yet-powerful way with words?

Simple yes. Powerful? Perhaps. But aren’t people’s sneakers also powerful (in the same way) after a 2 hour jog on a 30+ degree day? Scratch that. Aren’t guy’s jocks also powerful (in the same way) after a 2 hour jog on a 30+ degree day after not taking a shower and swimming in cyclist sweat (from cyclists that also haven’t showered)?

I thought that dad drove Hollywood stars to the forest in a cardboard box and left them there.

Speaking of driving to the forest in a cardboard box and being left there to die, did anyone else have the misfortune to watch the strangest horror movie ever on TV tonight - “House of the 1000 Corpses”?

They died by not breathing. Or something.

I’ll have to watch this movie again someday - sober and not stoned.

I wish this guy on “It Is Written” would stop breathing. Shawn Boonstra is his name. This has to be the most boring televangelical show ever. At least with Benny Hinn you can laugh at the bodies hitting the floor (youtube has a great clip, search for “Benny Hinn bodies hit floor”), as well as the really terrible singing from Benny.

My other alternative is to go to bed. Yeah.

oh that Rob Zombie flick? yeah it’s out there huh? My favourites are that freaky drunk clown with the greasepaint and that kooky chick (she’s a necrophilliac, get THAT fixed!!).
I know it’s meant to be gross but it just cracks me up, I can’t believe they would put a version of it worth showing on TV though.

It was totally out there, yeah, and pretty gruesome. Perfect for a Saturday night in!
