Last week Let’s Cook! With Craig done got featured on the front page of YouTube Australia and 13,000 views later the comments keep rolling in. Let’s pull together some of the highlights.

pasta, (canned) tomatoes, onion, garlic, oil, meat, (dried herbs). that’s spaghetti bolognese!

why the fuck would anyone put expensive, additive packed, pre-prepared shit-sauce or supermarket garlic in there??????
fuck the jam : the tomatoes are already sweet!

What exactly is Craig selling?

hmmm…very good idea for the average home cook but you can always find the recipe for the sauce and make it from scratch, that way you can tweek it any way you like, i was in culinary school so i think thats the way id go, but thanks for the ideas!

Interesting point is that this dish would taste 1000 times better if you use fresh ingredients and make it from scratch. Might take you an extra 20 minutes and cost another $5, but it would be better than eating this disgusting shit that Craig serves up.

There’s already a guy on TV whose show uses the same pacing, the same kind of music, the same intonations (except for the accent), etc. In fact everything is the same except he uses fresh ingredients.

The video production is top shelf but man, you have no effin’ idea how to cook boognaise! I deadset hope that was a piss take! Bottled garlic! bottled premade sauce and … strqberry jam… what the?!? Mate, as long as you like it fine but … what you just made ain’t Spag Bol. Good video work though.

I got to try this strawberry jam next time. My “secret” ingredient for this is Oyster Sauce. Pretty much the same amount used for strawberry jam and add it to the meat when frying it with onion and garlic. Also to enhance the flavour I use oregano and rosemary.

it looks delicious, and it’s a good idea to add some personnal ingredient to have your personnal toutch, the jam should be fine.Don’t care about the stupid commments. The cooking is an art and each artist is different.
