Blog themes by Google

Those crazy kids over at the incestuous A Western Heart/ Crusader Rabbit/ MK’s Views interweb of shame love denigrating “leftists” by accusing them of singing Kumbaya instead of taking real action (like shooting bad guys and resisting equality for women.) In fact, MK dropped the insult just this morning. So I did a quick Google and found that “Kumbaya” appears 61 times on AWH, 378 times on Crusader Rabbit, and 75 times on MK’s Views — a whopping 514 times in total. This strikes me as odd since I’m a bit of a lefty and I’ve never once sung Kumbaya since leaving the Scouts.

Inspired, I searched around and found a few other interesting facts that I’d like to share with you.

* “Gaia” appears on Andrew Bolt’s blog 561 times.
* “Pernicious” appears on a nameless bog of shame 157 times.
* “Latte” appears on Australia’s leading blue-and-orange-blog-that-starts-with-’G’ 157 times.

Have you found any interesting Google themes? Leave a link in comments.

“Acumen” appears on A Western Heart a grand total of 0 times; “Nazi”, 348.

How’s this for a Google theme?

  3. Monday 25 February 2008, 4:58 pm #Ant Rogenous

Makes perfect sense, Adam — WorkChoices was introduced early in 2006.

Re Google Trend: Jee-sus. The world is an amazing place.

Ant, the way that you make such solid-gold jokes with effortless ease makes me kind of hate you.

The AWHers are fond of the term “scum”: 387 hits ain’t bad.. The first adjectives that show up in that search are, wait for it, “leftist” and “Muslim”.

  6. Monday 25 February 2008, 5:08 pm #The Editor

What about “leftist Muslim”? They must hate those kinds of people twice as much.

Fleshlight appears 9 times (10 now?) on this site.

Also, about 1200 “AWH”s here haven’t earned a single Grods in return.

Excellent analysis and synthesis there, Steve.

I can’t believe you’re actually wasting bandwidth promoting the sorry sods.

Speaking of google trends, saw this on digg.com today.

    WTF happened in January, indeed.

  11. Monday 25 February 2008, 8:22 pm #The Editor

    That grabbed Adam’s attention too.

  12. Monday 25 February 2008, 8:28 pm #Goobermetrics

    Ha.. nice.

Had to explain to my colleague what it was I was laughing so hard at today…. fun conversation.

I actually sing it to my latte. Does that make me a super leftist?

…there is always the possibility of some ‘disenfranchised’ student suffering social injustice walking into your bastion of higher learning, inquiry and free thought and start busting caps.

If it happens in a place just like that, MK will be perfectly safe.

bastion of higher learning, inquiry and free thought

Maybe he’s talking about the local KKK lodge or something?

  16. Tuesday 26 February 2008, 8:43 am #The Editor

Whoa! A biggie at Bolta’s site. 1,410 results for “dam”.

  17. Tuesday 26 February 2008, 9:18 am #Goobermetrics

If we had 1,410 new dams we wouldn’t have these leftist Marxist socialist commie water restrictions now would we.

  18. Tuesday 26 February 2008, 10:08 am #The Editor

That’s right, Goober. Building dams automatically causes it to rain more.

  19. Tuesday 26 February 2008, 11:38 am #Adam

Building dams also causes it to rain over said dams! Whereas subsidizing water tanks all over the place so we can catch any rain that might fall regardless of where it falls causes God to kill kitties. You don’t want to kill kitties do you?

  20. Tuesday 26 February 2008, 11:55 am #The Editor

    Please don’t kill the kitties.

“Also, about 1200 “AWH”s here haven’t earned a single Grods in return.”

They like to pretend they ignore us, although the flood of hits I get from KG’s IP address every time I post there tells me otherwise.
