I’m ashamed to admit this, but as a result of having accepted some recent invitations to view comments GrodsReaders and GrodsWriters have left at certain wingnut blogs, I’ve fallen back into my filthy old habit of reading these bastions of bigoted lunacy.

All it took was a little taste … so much for my solemn pledge to stay clean.

Anyhow, a few moments ago I came across possibly THE most absurd thing I’ve ever read in what we’re expected to believe is a forum for adult ideas and debate.

Aurora, a blogger for the execrable Midnight Sun, was being questioned in this comment thread about her scant regard for accuracy and citations. In response to THR’s challenge to back up her outrageous claim that New Zealand prime minister Helen Clarke “is just marginally to the right of Stalin”, she had the following to say:

I’ll say it again. I’ll also state that I think she’s a snake and a dragon, a devourer, a demon. The ugliness of her ideologies can be seen coming out in the features of her face. This is an interesting natural phenomenon you can observe in evil individuals.

Laugh? I almost shat.

Don’t be too hard on the bloggy badness. I actually read an article on Crusader Rabbit the other day praising a well known communist. That’s pretty open minded. Of course I can’t be sure that KG is aware of the late Dr Hollows’ political beliefs, but I’m sure that a widely read blogger like him wouldn’t be ignorant of these things.

They are embarrassingly simple.

Pick any article ever written (even poetic works like ‘The Da Tingtong Code’) and they could bend it to make their point. It doesn’t matter how absurd it is, they can still do it.

They are like religious right who will use some unproved event/theory and create a complete doctrine on it. The true believers will then toss this ‘finding’ amongst themselves for so long it becomes a fact for them. Intelligent Design comes to mind. There is no fair debating of the issues, it’s just fact and they will write or say anything to prove it.

Most of our friends from The Fart(AWH) and associated hate blogs assume anyone who is not of the same sick ideology as them is a Marxist or a communist or a terrorist sympathiser or a school teacher or a pinko poofter mungrel leso bastard. They need to prove they are the misunderstood minority yet they claim they are the majority and any opposition is from a minority group of ‘Leftards’ who have the majority of the media’s ear. Every angle is covered and they will always have a case to be right [accidental pun intended].

KG claimed (while kicking my sorry commie ass to the curb, or something) that he has “served in Africa”. Australia isn’t in Africa all that much. I guess he was part of the peacekeeping force in Namibia in 1989/90. It’s not everyday that good, kind hearted folk reach out and tell someone to FUCK OFF without wanting anything in return.

I did some quick research on ; and found he is infamous for annoying the shit out of people and there are whole sites dedicated to exposing him for his tactics. I get a feel now for what Bridget had to to endure. I am going to take the advice of some people here and ignore him from now on.

Now I went and had a look. I wanted to comment on at least 10 posts in the first 3 minutes but then remembered that your 2 comments didn’t get through. I have NEVER had a single comment get through to TMS and considering the state I was in after reading their shite, I thought better of it.

These people are sick. The hatred is overwhelming and the logic of their arguments is equivalent to a grade 3 footy team dispute. So much for these pretend christians following Jesus? Way too much hatred for that.
