Not being much for mainstream media I honestly haven’t heard or read anything about Earth Hour. I have now decided, on the basis of Blair’s disendorsement, that I should be involved.

I don’t get Blair…. Why attack something that doesn’t hurt ANYONE and at least tries to inform and make the community aware of environmental issues?
If I turn my lights off for an hour am I harming anyone? Why are some people in this country so ready to be critical of anyone who tries to make a difference?

Thanks to Timmeh, I am reminded constantly about Earth Hour and to turn off my lights on the 29th. Being as scatterbrained as I am, I need reminders about things.
If you switch on all your lights, appliances and electronic goods out of spite then only one thing is certain - your power bill will be marginally higher, all for the sake of being a dickhead.
Orrrr… if it’s a really hot night and they put on their heaters, they’ll be fucking boiling and their neighbours will think they’re a tool. And so will I.
