Can’t the Liberals do anything right?

They can’t win elections, they’re barely functioning, and now comes the news that no-one in the party can even destablise an already shaky leadership properly.

The blog can be read here, and the men behind it can be contacted here.

What’s interesting is that the blog appears to have been leaked to that site from the inside, because the “edit widget” buttons are still there.

Nice work. You can’t even leak properly.

This saga may have a silver lining. Giving their current position, the Libs might now support voluntary youth in Asia.

I am outraged over another post in that so called blog

These Bailleau critics are spoilers, and, ,whoever leads the Libs. get it.After all, they keep talking Free Enterprise,a concept so old its going mouldy. And,I dont want to be the kiss of death for him, because ,in fact,he maybe decent,is also public, plays by the rules, today,in copping shit from within and without, and because he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth or at least,is part of the Victorian Silvertail Right,he is probable more insightful than many in the Libs.He inherited it.Even if you dont vote for someone, doesnt mean, that you are in opposition to someone,if they are doing things that you accept are good. The other point, the Medical Industry, that is a Service,Public or Private are enterprise in a lot of respects, and the nurses represent some of the fittest workers around,if,recent pedometer readings from Bellingen Hospital N.S.W. represent actual distances walkable in a year.Something like three times around the equator. So there is no wonder there is a personal liking of Bailleau by the Nurses, because he keeps himself fit.Which is very Victorian, boringly so. I wonder though,if he would think about taking a polo team to Afghanistan as an exhibition match, even against a worthy Talibani team of horse men.He probably would if it was safe to a point, and his critics on that blog, would be eating horseshit. In fact,Kennett with his concern about depressed people is remarkable, and cannot be criticised at all about that.Only the way you treat the depressed can be.I think, those bloggers have a obsession,a dangerous obsession. And Kennett would go over proudly as an Australian with Bailleau, just to prove some point about himself, rather than anyone else. And if,Brumby has any intelligence,if,a breakthrough with the Taliban looks possible would finance the trip, and say,”I dont care,if people think this is a waste of money,or the sealing of who are the rightful parties to power in Victoria.Somethings are larger in Life than my political decisions. And that could be a chance for Peace in the World”. But think about voting Democrats and others first.

Phillip Travers’ comments are longer than John Surname’s posts.

By a factor of at least 100. Although, Surname’s posts contain more spaces between words.

I was going to blog on this but then thought, meh. The two things I thought were interesting -

    1. Google apparently answered the LP’s demands that they release the IP of the blogger, which is fairly unusual behaviour for them and a big worry to any other anonymous bloggers using their service for defamatory purposes; and

    2. Although the blogspot blog is now locked, you can still pull up the previous entries by adding it to your RSS reader.

Don’t Google realise that they are dealing with one of the most piss-weak outfits in the history of the Earth? Why cave in?

Hawthorn Girl Guides hold more sway than the Vic LP.

By a factor of at least 100. Although, Surnames posts contain more spaces between words

However, Phillip sounds like he could also be a Nevernude too.

“Meh” = wait until Surname’s posted on it, and then get all snippy and upload a cut-down version anyway.

Google has always been a friend of all things right and it is best avoided in favour of any other search engine.

About ten years ago I wrote a comment that was not pro police and google sent me a warning in red writing across the screen. I’ve avoided Google ever since.

That’s why NWA use Yahoo instead.

normally I’d happily shake the hand of anyone who took a dump so publicly on Ted Balieu’s election prospects, but that Simon Morgan does have an eminently punchable face doesn’t he?

So who are they going to get to lead the party that is MORE right wing than the current Liberal lineup anyway?
To the best of my knowledge any significant members of the third Reich were either executed at the Hague, have gone into hiding or are just straight out too old to lead the Liberal party into the next Victorian state election.

  14. Monday 12 May 2008, 1:08 am #notallright

I think it’s funny to have a photo of that Simon Morgan fella and sack mentioned on the same page. Goodness sake someone please put one over his head. It’s dangerous for someone that ugly to walk around uncovered.

And krypto has just Goodwined himself.

  15. Monday 12 May 2008, 1:47 am #Krypto

don’t cite Godwin’s law at me notalright, if you read the comment back you’ll find I made no direct comparison between anyone and the third reich, merely pointed out that to become MORE right wing than the Liberal party already are, the third reich would be the only place they COULD look.

You know, I was trying to think why that Simon Morgan looked familiar, then it hit me, he looks exactly like a pig.
Look at that porcine upturned nose and those beady little eyes, tell me couldn’t have gotten a gig as an extra on Babe?
Well except for the fact that he’s more your gluttonous, self indulgent pig rather than your cute cuddly kind of course.

Disturbingly what this hows is that while the Grods team have been obsessing about getting a free bottle of plonk from Iain Hall, they have dropped the ball when it comes to one of their war aims of hanging shit on the Liberal Party, to the point they have been outdone by the fucking Liberal Party itself.
    Lift your fucking game Grodsters!

We can’t win! One minute we’re getting criticised for focussing too much on the Libs and the next minute we’re getting criticised for not focussing enough on this Libs!

    This intertubes business is tough.

  18. Monday 12 May 2008, 12:01 pm #Wah

You can never focus enough on the Libs! Especially when they are sniffing seats, backstabbing their own on blogs, talking about mergers and led by a man with a forehead the size of King Island.
    Strike, strike and strike again.

  19. Monday 12 May 2008, 8:57 pm #brokenleftleg

“led by a man with a forehead the size of King Island.”
Thanks a lot Wah, I fell off the chair laughing so hard at that one.

This Baillieu sting smacks of a hacking job. There’s something rather “partisan” about it.

  21. Monday 12 May 2008, 9:42 pm #Chuck A. Spear

The bloggers even said mean things about Labor’s favourite Liberal, Petro Georgio.

  22. Monday 12 May 2008, 10:08 pm #akathehacker

How do you hack a website, does anyone know? I’d be happy to do it but then again I’m not happy.

  23. Monday 12 May 2008, 10:11 pm #The Editor

This “akathehacker” fellow has really brought a ray of sunshine to this thread.

Phew, for a minute there I thought the admin was going to breach my privacy and out me.
