Compare and contrast

Opposition leader Dr Brendan Nelson commenting on a Kevin Rudd post-budget interview.

[Kevin Rudd] sounded like one of those recorded messages you get when you’re actually trying to get real information.

Here’s Doctor Who? in the same interview.

We want to make sure that we have a Budget which makes sure that Australians are more likely to be able to afford their homes, to put petrol in their car, to buy groceries.

Drink!

…is the Budget going to make it easier for me to balance my household budget, to afford my home, put petrol in the car, to buy groceries…

Drink!

And here’s a different Nelson interview on the same day.

…is this Budget going to make it easier for me to pay my mortgage, put groceries in the trolley, to put petrol in my car…

Drink!

And Shadow Treasurer Malcolm Turnbull’s even playing the drinking game.

It is not a Budget that lifts a finger to help Australians battling with rising costs of living – petrol, groceries, private health insurance and home interest rates.

Drink! Drink! Drink!

Rising costs … which during the election they all but denied and, thanks to their short sighted bribery of the electorate over 11 years instead of investing in education etc, they partially caused.

Bonus points to Turnbull for throwing in private health insurance, one of the biggest causes of people not being able to put groceries in their trolleys.

This is getting ridiculous. The lot of them are off their fucken trolleys.

Completely off topic sorry, but have you seen this yet … “West Australian Opposition Leader Troy Buswell says there is “absolutely no substance” to reports he once did something inappropriate to a quokka, a small marsupial found on a holiday island off Perth.” http://www.theage.com.au/news/national/chairsniffer-denies-quokka-rumours/2008/05/14/1210444508751.html

Oh my. Oh my oh my. BWAHAHAHAHHAHA!!

Also drink whenevever Turnbull says is Wayne Swan is a great “postman”, delivering the Liberal’s message.

Stephen Fielding last night talked about “letting the inflation genie out of the bottle”.

    Drink, then glass the cunt

It’s getting to the point where you may as well just drink every time a Lib gets his mug on the telly.

Wah, great use of the “cunt” there. I’ll drink to that.

And now it’s all “voodoo economics” according to Turnbull.

    Huh?
