You know, that Moyes-Nile thing has been brewing for a while, and I reckon it has its roots in the Camden school fiasco. When Nile took his propaganda show to Camden late last year, Moyes and a few other people from Nile’s party distanced themselves from Niles’ anti-Muslim statements and even made statements of their own voicing their commitment to respect for all religions. Nile is an egotist, and he’s surrounded by like-minded arseholes, so I am not at all surprised that he and his co-thinkers would be engaged in bullying. He’s not likely to have taken too kindly to public disagreement from Moyes. That’s my theory anyway. Perhaps I can send you a three-minute MP3 next week with some of my other theories on it…
BTW, great idea about Bron, a Bruce Shapiro-style political correspondent from Sidoni. Get her on!

Yeah, like Toaf, I wondered if Moyes had had enough of Niles lack of Christian “love”. I always felt Moyes to be the “nicer” of the two in the Christian Democratic Party (although that doesn’t really excuse his decision to join a party notorious for its pathological hatred of gays and lesbians — even though they have provided creative float inspirations for the annual Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras over the years). And Toaf should send a three minute mp3 of any topic he wishes to discuss. Good idea!
As for appearing on a Grodscast, I’ll be in Melbourne in December for a whole week from Boxing Day onwards. So, if Grodscast goes on hiatus for the holiday period, then I don’t know …
