the rightwingers attitude to the stimulus package is evident in the senate hearings on TV now. Barnaby Joyce demanded to know from some bureacrat what the difference is between “create jobs” and “support jobs” in the proposal. Eric Abetz wanted to know what time the proposal was sent to the printers and what time it came back. switch to Bob Brown who wants to know what is the current state of the Australian economy, and what treasury forecast are for the next 12 mths and why $42b and not $21b or $84b. in short, the coalition are using the senate committee hearing for their own political purposes whereas the greens are considering the future of the country. says alot.

So the man references 2 newscorpse polls, the Herald Sun one which has 53% support for Turnbull and the Oz one which has (presumably) 53% support for Rudd and they both prove that he’s right?

The whole reason bolt is pissed about losing some plants is that before the water restrictions came in he spent thousands on a new watering system which he hasnt been able to use.

if he had of spent the money on a rainwater tank and greywater systems his garden would be fine.

Why isnt the whiney little prick growing a native garden? Does he think he is too good to grow Australian plants? Is it because he is UNPATRIOTIC and UNAUSTRALIAN?!

And if he doesnt like our native flora, he can fuck off back to Holland and grow tulips.

Skeptic, Bolta’s whinging is incessant. I remember a piece a year or so ago about how the greenies want to take away all our air conditioners. The man is a soft-cock. Did anyone read his big winge the other day (sorry I don’t have the link)?

He started off saying how grumpy he was due to lack of sleep because of the hot (leftist?) weather and then proceeded to whine like a spoilt little boy.

He’s already lost 6 plants in his lovely European (hey, aren’t they socialists?) garden this summer because of water restrictions. Obviously this has nothing to do with the drought and everything to do with bad labor govt policy.

What is it with conservatives and refusing to take responsibility for their own actions? Why isn’t he using grey water, buckets in the shower etc to water his precious plants?

The only thing of mine to die in the heat were my tomatoes, which I forgot to water.

The Daily Terror had a poll just before I went to bed last night. It was along the lines “Who do you agree with? Malcolm Turnbull or Kevin Rudd?” (over the $42 billion spending spree).

I, naturally, clicked on Kevin Rudd because I roolly roolly would like that $950 (and I’m also happy to accept donations and pay packets today, GrodsReaders), and already, Kevin Rudd was in the lead at 100%. Of course, I was only the 5th person to have voted by that point…
