*restores groupthink*

I know that some want rational explanations for things, and all things being equal Fielding isn't the most rational person. BUT all that aside, how on earth does one explain his spectacular flip flop on the ETS? And his voting with the coalition to reject an inquiry (into an issue on which Abbott had been declaring "sunlight is the only disinfectant" to get to Teh Truth), when it is Fielding who's been wanting inquiry after inquiry on issue after issue without looking for some kind of political motive?

just sayin'.

He was at it again today siding with the opposition to vote down a parliamentary privelleges inquiry into what abetz allegedly knew ahead of the estimates hearing last week.

I think it's pretty evident now that Fieldng is playing to the Libs and the AGW wingnuts in the hope of gaining Liberal party preferences to give himself the best chance at the next election.

I think Fielding should take some contraceptives...just as a precaution, mind. Remember, the chap doesn't believe in condoms.

I am a product of the Engineering faculty at RMIT. I was in the civil dept and not the Chemical thankfully.

Sadly Fielding is listed in the 100 most influential Engineers in Australia. So is Greg Combet.

Disclosure. I have an Engineering Degree from Sydney Uni and me and my co-workers have been having a lot of fun recently in my workplace with a couple of our co-workers who graduated from RMIT, who are blaming it all on Monash.

It's always funny when someone adopts the old precautionary principle for their own welfare but not that of the planets.

Do you think the Engineering faculty at RMIT is collectively holding their heads and swearing at whatever moron allowed Fielding to graduate and forever besmirch the university's credibility?

Fielding is such an embarrassment with all his hand-wringing over the ETS and AGW. and to arrogantly assert there isn't enough evidence when all the people he's really listened to are the denialists!
