Two parallel caption competitions have been running this week and the judging panel (me) has deliberated long and hard*. The first photo was of Kevin Rudd, and congratulations to Adam in third place (for pure shock value)…

“One in the pink, one in the stink.”

…and to Bridgit Gread in second place…

“I say again… Grods Think number TWO has been the best one so far, despite what the leader of the opposition claims.”

…but our winner is Bruce with this insightful pearler.

“This is how many digits you should be aiming for, Brendan.”

Bruce wins a cardboard cutout of Kevin Rudd.

The second photo was of Brendan Nelson, and congratulations to Fabio in third place…

“How many foreheads am I holding up?”

…and to Magic Bellybutton in second place…

“I own two Fleshlights! Take that, you ‘I went to a strip club but didn’t partake of the product’ nancy boy!”

…but our winner is Ray Dixon with this strangely prophetic ditty.

“I HAVE ONLY EVER VOTED LIBERAL TWICE IN MY LIFE!”

Ray wins a Fender Stratocaster signed by Brendan Nelson. Thanks to all who submitted the very excellent entries — judging was tough.

* Ha, ha. I said “long and hard”.
