GrodsThink: pwned

When I ponder the GrodsThink stats after every episode, I’m always stumped as to who our second listener is. Of the two weekly downloads I know that one is Toaf, but my mum has confirmed that she’d “never listen to that shit again after the disgrace that was episode two” and my sister is waaaaay too busy. But now the mystery of the second listener has been solved.

Conservative blogger, J.F. Beck, has taken time out from writing lame slap-down posts about Antony Loewenstein and Jeremy Sear to write a lame slap-down post about GrodsCorp’s GrodsThink podcast.

HUMOUR SHIT-CANNED

Disappointing news:

A couple of readers have pointed out that this week’s GrodsThink episode hasn’t yet appeared. Well, that’s because it was shit and we decided not to publish it.

Yep, it would be pretty hard to top the previous effort featuring cock-monkies and titty-fucking.

Oh, come off it, Beck! Cockmonkeys and titty-fucking are awesome (even though I’m not sure Jose Ferdinand understands that “cockmonkey” is an insult and not a sexual practice.) And the sanctimonious attempted-slur is a bit rich considering that if you scroll down a bit from the anti-GrodsThink piece you’ll find a post that links to this photo and suggests none-too-subtly that Jeremy Sear engages in sexual activities with his cat.

When a bastion of good taste such as J.F. Beck’s blog accuses my site of being in poor taste, the shame I feel is palpable.

Groupthink food chain

If nothing else, the storm of RWDB indignation over Jeremy Sear’s parking ticket post has exposed the pecking order within the blog chain of righty groupthink.

At the top of the chain is Timmeh Blair who sparked the groupthinking.
Next in the chain is Andrew Bolt who, as Blair’s number one groupthinking partner, thunk along as usual with Blair.
And at the bottom of the chain are various bottom feeding and illiterate bloggers around regional Australia who desperately seek Blair and Bolt’s attention by furiously groupthinking with them.

Sear was just feeding the chooks.

ps/- Despite the order of the groupthink food chain, the results were interesting when Bolt and Blair fought to the death in a naked cage fight.

More sly Wikipedia editing

Much has been made recently of the website Wikiscanner which allows users to track the Wikipedia edits made by an IP address or range. Australian newspapers this week went nuts over the fact that government employees altered a number of Wikipedia articles, conveniently ignoring the edits made by their own staff.

After a few days of exhaustive research GrodsCorp can reveal the following controversial Wikipedia article edits that have been made by prominent bloggers:

Andrew Bolt
- The Greens (”eat the fetuses they have forcibly aborted from mothers at 26 weeks gestation. Hat tip: Tim Blair“)
- Climate change (”the dinosaurs died out and they didn’t drive cars! Hat tip: Tim Blair)
- David Duchovny (”dude is seriously hott”)

Timmeh Blair
- The Greens (”eat the fetuses they have forcibly aborted from mothers at 26 weeks gestation. Hat tip: Andrew Bolt“)
- Climate change (”the dinosaurs died out and they didn’t drive cars! Hat tip: Andrew Bolt)

MK
- Homosexuality (”something much more meaningful than just a beautiful lifestyle choice”)
- Guns (”for men with small penises”)

Jeremy Sear
- Cats (”rock”)

Andrew Landeryou
- Red Rooster (”pale KFC imitation”)

Mikey
- John Howard (”a truly great man”)

Iain; Hall
- McDonalds (changed article title to “Fine; Scotish; Restuaront”)
- English language (”constentley; Evolveing”)
- Islam (”the one Tru caling;”)

John Surname
- Emo (”the one true calling”)

Have you found any edits made by bloggers that you’d like to add to the list? Leave ‘em in comments.

MrLefty’s Green Screen Challenge

Satirical blogger Andrew Landeryou has been having fun recently photoshopping Anonymous (Jeremy Sear) Lefty’s face into photos of brothels and strip clubs. Inspired, Lefty has issued a Green Screen Challenge whereby bloggers are invited to photoshop his face into ridiculous situations. The Editor never backs away from a challenge so GrodsCorp proudly presents:

And in the spirit of fairness, here’s something I prepared earlier:

UPDATE: While we’re in the photoshop mood I couldn’t help but whip this up when I discovered that GrodsCorp’s favourite try-hard blogger has been into the thesaurus again and now calls himself…

Iain Hall; heterodox man
