McBec and I were watching SBS last night waiting for South Park to start. That new-ish filler program Marx and Venus came on and I expressed my distaste for it at volume.
“What’s wrong with it?” asked McBec.
“It’s shit. It’s poorly written, poorly acted and poorly directed,” I summed up.
“Unlike Lachlan Connor,” retorted McBec snidely.
“Lachlan Connor isn’t on SBS,” came my brilliant comeback. “And besides,” I continued, “LC is barely written, atrociously acted, and simply isn’t directed.”
I won the argument by arguing McBec’s case better than McBec.
